Description

My Story:

Meet Catelyn! She is 5 year Shepherd mix. She is house trained and crate trained. Catelyn enjoys hanging out with her foster brothers, but has never met a cat. She is very well-mannered, laid-back and easily trainable.

She knows sit, stay, heel and lay down and walks good on a leash. She enjoys taking a run in the yard, going for walks, or laying on her dog bed. Catelyn is not fond of fireworks or thunderstorms and would prefer to stay inside during these events. She is very eager to please and is looking for her furever home. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and preventative medicines.

Please consider adopting or fostering Catelyn.

I was found in the Tampa Bay area as a stray on Dec 18, 2015. I had to spend Christmas as well as my birthday in the shelter. Luckily I was rescued by Furever Paws Animal Rescue and am now available for adoption!

I enjoy car rides, and am well tempered when I am one on one, but the volunteers at FPAR are evaluating me now and will soon update this page.

UPDATE: The FPAR Team has been working with me everyday, I am very sweet and love to cuddle. I listen very well on lead, I can sit, stay, heel and lay down on command, I am crate trained but I will need just a little more work. I am not very good with other dogs however I am getting better!

UPDATE 3/29/2016: Catelyn really needs to find her Furever Home! She is a very loving and affectionate girl. Ideally in an only dog home she is very obedient, house trained and mostly just wants to lounge around wherever you are. She walks well on a leash, knows sit, lay down heel and stay.
